Sabine Landolt and her co-author friend Agathe Laurent both experienced challenging professional environments in France and the United States, inspiring this cross-cultural book project. Rooted in real-life experiences between French and American professionals, the book explores the misunderstandings and invisible codes shaping international collaboration. Built through fifty in-depth interviews, it encourages curiosity, empathy, and dialogue between cultures. The project became a collaborative effort, with Surya Son leading the graphic and illustration direction through a curated selection of emerging Mexican artists. Published in French and English, the book was conceived as a practical tool for cross-cultural collaboration.
